BODY FOR GOLF

I’ve had the pleasure of being asked to write for Golf IllustratedResort Living and the Junior Golf Scoreboard, and I’ve also published 8 best-selling books on golf.
You may have seen some of my work in Atlanta Golfer, SELF magazine, GolfersMd, or a number of other golf related magazines and websites.
You have probably heard me share my wisdom on achieving peak performance in golf in my interviews with ESPN or as a host of my own internet radio show dedicated to golf fitness.
Because of my unparalleled expertise, I was invited to work on the LPGA tour with Jill McGill and Allison Hannah, and oversaw the fitness program at the International Junior Golf Academy. I have also consulted with top college teams including UCLA.
So, I think it’s fair to say that I know a little about golf performance.

Top Golfers and Instructors All Work Together-For the Best Results

Here I am in this photo along with famous putting instructor, Mike Shannon from Sea Island, Georgia, and PGA and LPGA golf instructor, Gary Gilchrist from the Gary Gilchrist Golf Academies. We had this photo taken in Bogota, Columbia where we presented and worked with the South American Golf Federation. We presented alongside the ‘local’ and international superstar Camilo Villegas from the PGA Tour.
I’m honored to be a full-time golf training professional for players on tour, and to also train competitive juniors, collegiate golf teams, recreational players and competitive golfers of all levels.
My real passion, and the force that drives me is in helping millions of golfers like you dramatically improve their golf game by revealing the insider secrets that most pros won’t tell you-either because they don’t know or they are too busy working on tour with some of the world’s best players.

Golfers trust me, and they recognize they will never get to the top of their golf game on their own

Just because you can’t reach your full golfing potential on your own doesn’t mean you need to spend thousands of your hard-earned cash on a “local pro golf coach,” when you can get the same (and possibly better) results for 0.03% of the cost.
I’m thirsty for new research and information on increasing golf performance, so I buy every single golfing product that I can get my hands on. While some of the other golf products do contain some useful information, none of them quite share the deep knowledge that I’ve gained from studying the powerful connection between your body and golf performance.
Worst yet, some of the advice the other so-called “golf mastery” products give will actually set you up for failure by giving you injuries that will be a detriment to your golf performance.
Reading a few articles in golf magazines won’t set you up for the fast success you desire.

Discover the PROVEN #1 Secret to INSTANTLY Improving Your Swing and Hit More Explosive Shots

I’ve literally worked with thousands of golfers, and I’ve heard hundreds of the bogus myths that are out there when it comes to improving your game.

The truth is…the pros achieve outstanding results because they use fitness and nutrition programs designed specifically for the game of golf.

Sadly, there are many untruths being told about how to get in shape for golf. In fact, few people even understand the real connection between your body and your swing and how to prepare it for a lifetime of play.  And, not just to play golf, BUT playing golf at peak performance.

You Need a Breakthrough Golf-Specific Program to Get You Results, Fast
The #1 thing competitive and tour golfers have in common is that they ALL engage in golf fitness.
Tour golfers wouldn’t be where they are today if they didn’t understand the vital connection between their level of fitness and their swing.
Just take a look at the living legend, Gary Player, otherwise known as the Black Knight. Gary won nine major championships on the regular tour and six Champions Tour major championship victories, and if that’s not enough to impress you, he also won three Senior British Open Championships on the European Senior Tour. He’s 77, and he’s still unstoppable.
Want to know his secret?
Gary trains extensively using golf-specific workout routines which gives him those long and straight drives that you crave.
Still not convinced?

Tough crowd…
Take a look at Greg Norman, a 58-year old previous golf champ who is the self-entitled pioneer of golf fitness. Greg trains with cutting-edge workout routines specifically designed for golf. In an interview he snarled, “I’m appalled by people who don’t look after their bodies.” Are you one of those people?
I’m bursting at the seams with all of the examples of pros who train in golf fitness. I could talk about this with you for hours.
Let’s take a look at Tiger Woods, shall we? He is ranked number one in the official world golf ranking, he is one of the highest-paid athletes in the world, and he broke a number of golf records. Surprise, surprise, he trains using a specific golf practice routine.
All secrets of success are visible.
As you can see, it’s no secret that you’re not playing at your true potential because you simply don’t yet have the tools to give your body what it needs physically and nutritionally to consistently play an exceptional game of golf.
I’ve spent the past 10 years studying professional golfers and training serious golfers for competitive play. Competitive and tour golfers aren’t any different than you.
Here’s what all golfers are looking for…(yes, even tour players)

Increase drive distance by 15 to 20 yards or more, although many would be happy with an additional 10 yards (just ask a tour player how important a few more yards would be to their game)

These 5 Steps reveal the things you MUST AVOID if you want to play low scoring golf, drop your handicap and achieve your ideal golf body.

Helping you is my life’s work, so I really want to shed some light on why you’re not seeing any real improvements with your game.
Here are just a few reasons why the majority of people don’t ever play to their full potential:

Step #1: Take Care of Your Massive Energy Leak

Golfers have one very powerful center of force and it’s called the core.
The golf swing relies upon core strength, endurance and proper engagement for any kind of reliable distance off the tee. And, it’s just not off the tee, but it can affect every shot you make leading to the green.
Core conditioning is very important for a golfer because all movements in your entire body stem from the strength in this area.
Wherever you find a weak core, you find a major source of energy leaks in the golf swing.
The core is where the body’s center of gravity is located and where force production begins.
Most people have a very weak core, and as a result, chronic posture problems. Over time, this creates wear and tear on the body. A golfer with a weak core is vulnerable to injury and struggles with efficiency in their swing.

Step #2: Stop Neglecting the Three Vital Body Parts

Can you guess the top 3 areas of concern on the body for most every golfer? That’s right. It’s the shoulders, hips and spine!

Most people don’t know the right techniques to activate their powerful trio.
Every great golf instructor will tell you that your body rotates around your spine. It acts like a pivot point in the golf swing.
Without the correct method of shoulder rotation, you have very little chance of getting your arms in the proper position in your backswing and, sadly, this limits your follow through.
And the hips?
Top players initiate their downswing with the powerful muscles of the abs and hips. Once the desired momentum is generated by the lower body, they use their arm muscles to effectively “fine tune” the swing.
Recreational players, on the other hand, use their arm muscles right at the outset. As a result, they are unable to recruit the latent muscle-power in their lower body, while the arm muscles work extra hard both to power and guide the club. No wonder it leads to an inconsistent swing!

Step #3: 99% of Golfers Don’t Know HOW to Get the Right Posture

Every golfer is continually in search of that elusive feel of the perfect swing. Books are written on the topic. Instructional videos promising the “secrets of the perfect swing” sell like hotcakes by mail order and on the internet. Everyone everywhere wants to know what they need to do to swing like the pros.
The truth is you’ve been lied to…
There is no “perfect swing” – at least there’s no one method for achieving it.
If we’ve learned anything from years of watching professional golfers showcase their skills in tournaments around the world, it is that the “perfect swing” varies from player to player.
That doesn’t mean the cause is lost and you’ll never find “that” swing. It just means that you have to find “your” swing.
One of the most important components of a good golf swing is your posture at address. If you have poor posture, your search of the perfect swing becomes more challenging.
Once you learn how to start building strength in the right areas, good golf posture will come easy. Then, you need to build endurance so you can repeat the same winning swing, over and over again.

Step #4: Amateur Golfers Eat Foods that HINDER Their Game

Golf nutrition is among the most important things you should look after. Do you know it is one of the main culprits of a disastrous back nine?
Poor nutrition affects mental focus and judgment as well as energy management. One minute you’re playing fine and you have a good eye for the target. Next you know, your game is falling apart hole by hole, even stroke by stroke.
You will never play to your true potential if you don’t learn how to eat like a champion with a solid golf nutrition program.

Step #5: Stop Engaging in Workouts That Cause Injuries

How to Spot a Bad Email List and Turn It Into a Good One~ By Lindsay Kolowich

Email is still one of the best ways to reach your target audience, contrary to what you may have heard. In fact, customer acquisition via email has increased by 4X in the last four years.

But it’s not the best way to reach people who don’t want to hear from you. Bad lists won’t just stall your marketing efforts, they’ll actually undermine your business. If you don’t regularly clean your email lists to ensure everyone you email has a valid email address and actually wants to receive your stuff, here’s what you can expect to happen:

  1. People will ignore, delete, or mark your emails as spam.
  2. Your deliverability and sender score reputation will decline.
  3. Your open and click-through rates will drop.
  4. Your unsubscribe rate will rise.
  5. You might get in trouble with the law.
  6. Your boss won’t be happy to see your email marketing metrics start to tank.
Since you probably don’t want any of those things to happen, we’re here to give you info on turning your bad email lists around. In this post, I’ll go over what bad and good email lists looks like, and what steps you can take to transform your bad ones into good ones. By the end, you’ll be in much better email marketing shape.

What a Bad Email List Looks Like

It was bought, rented, or borrowed.

With aggressive goals on the horizon, it can be tempting to acquire email lists the quick and dirty way. But sending emails to people who don’t have a prior relationship with your business will severely hurt your reputation with your prospects, your internet service provider, and your email server.
First of all, any email list that’s for sale or rent is guaranteed to be low quality. Nobody with a good email list would give it up to somebody else because its value would decline as more and more irrelevant content is sent to it.
Secondly, people really don’t like being spammed. Recipients of your emails weren’t expecting to get an email from you -- and they likely didn’t want to get an email from you. Many of them will mark your message as spam, which hurts the Sender Score of the servers you send from. This taints your IP reputation and makes it harder for your future emails to get delivered. Many email service providers will cut off senders that violate certain limits because of the impact on IP reputation and delivery. You’ll also put your company in jeopardy because you’re all on the same IP address, and those can take months to recover.
Plus, you’ll be known as a spammy marketer -- and you’re better than that!
There are other options people can take besides hitting “spam” -- and they can hurt almost as much.  According to the 2014 Science of Email report, The most common responses to unwanted email are, in order: 1) ignore or delete, 2) unsubscribe, and 3) mark as spam. This isn’t good news: ignoring or deleting emails are also terrible for your reputation and can cause you to get caught in spam filters more often and will reduce your conversion rates.

It has steroidal growth.

The size of your list doesn't account for the quality of email addresses on it. Steroidal growth of email lists either means your team is buying or renting email lists, or there are bots filling out your forms. List quality suffers significantly either way.

TRANSFORMING PHOTOS OF REAL PEOPLE INTO CARICATURES

Photomanipulation + Retouching + Color Grading Tutorial

We will be covering a lot of things in this massive tutorial. You will learn step by step how you can create any cartoon character you imagine using photomanipulation, retouching and color grading techniques. With only Photoshop and stock photos (or your own) you can create a unique caricature that can be a logo, a mascot for a product, a character in an ad, etc.. You can of course use the same techniques explained in this tutorial, in a more subtle way, to spice up your portraits or images.

This tutorial has a massive 89 steps detailing the entire process to achieve the image above and don't worry, all my tutorials can be done by anyone who has basic knowledge of Photoshop. Unlike other tutorials you'll sometimes see out there, you don't need to be a skilled digital painter to achieve the same results I get here - as I'm not a good digital painter myself ;)

Using Balance in Your Landscape Photography Composition~By Gavin Hardcastle

How to use Balance in your landscape photography
If you want to take your landscape photography to the next level, it’s time to start thinking about how you balance your subjects. The most powerful compositional tools that you have at your disposal are your knees, and your feet.
Simply stepping to the side a couple of feet can change your landscape compositions drastically. Take things one step further (weak pun intended) and bend those old knees to get a lower point of view. Now things might start to look more interesting.
The reason why I say this is because horizontal and vertical movement will allow you to achieve the ideal balance of subjects in your landscape images. If you’ve got a camera with one of those flippable LCD screens, you’ll be able to get right down on the ground or way up high on your tripod. Nice.

So what do I mean by ‘balance’?

Composition basics - using balance in your landscape photography
Something Wicked
I’m referring to how you balance subjects in your image on the horizontal and vertical planes. Simply plonking your interesting subject slap bang in the centre of your image might work, but there are times when you might get a better composition by placing it to one side of your image, and counter balancing that with something on the opposing side.
With my image above ‘ Something Wicked’, I wanted the moody storm clouds to be the main subject but it was essential to capture it bearing down on the mesa. By devoting the lower third of the frame to the mesa and the upper two thirds to the menacing clouds above, I balanced the subjects to my liking.

Microsoft's Surface Pro 3 Could Be a Laptop-Killer~By Samantha Murphy Kelly

Microsoft   unveiled its third-generation Surface Pro 3 device at an event in New York City on Tuesday, with larger surface area than its previous model and even lighter than a MacBook A The launch of the 12-inch Surface Pro 3 comes less than a year after Microsoft unveiled the Surface Pro 2, which received positive reviews for being a powerful PC inside a tablet form factor but has struggled to gain traction in the market.

The Surface Pro 3, which comes with a multi-position kickstand, aims to not take on other tablets but the MacBook Air, with its eyes set on getting business professionals on board with its new design.
The pre-sale starts Wednesday for $799 for an Intel Core i3 version. Devices with i5 and i7 processors will also be available.
The company announced the news at its "small" Surface event, but didn't launch the Surface Mini rumored to debut at the presentation.
"This is the tablet that can replace your laptop," said Panos Panay, corporate VP of Microsoft, said during the event. "We designed it in thinness around every corner. This is faster than the Surface Pro 2 you've loved to date and is much thinner."
The Surface Pro 3 is 12 inches, up from 10.6 inches, to increase productivity and weighs 1.76 pounds, without a keyboard. It measures in at just 9.1mm and is the "thinnest Intel Core product ever made," Microsoft says. It comes with a 2160x1440 screen, microSD card reader and a USB 3.0 port.

It also comes with an updated trackpad: "We got no praise for our [last] trackpad. We heard you."
In addition to an improved hinge, users can now tilt the screen to an angle of up to 150 degrees. The SP3 keyboard is different than before too, capitalizing on how it sits in your lap and cuts down on shaking that occurs when you type.
The device features a pen too, which during the on-stage demo seemed to work seamlessly when writing letters into a New York Times crossword puzzle. By clicking the pen, it impressively turned on a note-taking app too.

5 Steps To Looking 10 Years Younger

Steve & Becky Holman

5 Steps To Looking 10 Years Younger

By Steve & Becky Holman

Did you know that once you hit 40 years of age, whether you're a man or a women, your body starts aging FASTER than normal? Studies have shown that without the proper nutrients and exercise, your body will age about 6 months EXTRA for every year that passes. Think about that! If you are 40, that means by the time you hit 44 you will LOOK and FEEL 46. And by the time you reach 60, you will LOOK and FEEL 70 YEARS OLD! We see this every day... just look around you.
Did you know that 90% of people over the age of 35 lose enough muscle every year to burn off an additional 4 pounds of body fat? That means you not only lose the only thing on your body that creates shape, tone, and strength—you also gain more fat every year, even if your calories stay the same.
Did you know that all of this is reversible at any age? That there are specific ways to move, eat, and think that tell your brain to STOP this rapid aging process... and even SLOW IT DOWN to the point where you're aging less than a year for every year? That means you can look younger at 40 than you do at 35... or if you're like Becky and me, younger at 50+ than we did at 40!
This is not fantasy talk. This does not require a boatload of anti-aging drugs, supplements, or gimmicks. And, this works for anyone, male or female, and works at any age. 35, 45, 55, 65, 75... you name it. The biology is exactly the same.
My years as editor-in-chief at Iron Man Magazine have allowed me to peer into the secret routines of the anti-aging experts. Over the years, both Becky and I have picked up SO many tips, tricks, and strategies that have allowed us to literally reverse the aging process, at least from a cellular level. That means our bodies look, feel, and MOVE younger than our chronological age.
We've taught this System to countless men and women over the years, and it always begins with these 5 key principles you must apply in order to STOP the rapid onset of aging that's going on right now, reverse it, and begin "aging backwards" by restoring your body's natural youth hormones.
That said, we have to warn you: What you are about to hear may go against all the conventional diet and exercise advice you've been hearing. That's because the world has, to be utterly frank, gone soft! "Core training", hot yoga, cycling classes, tai chí—all of these are just fine, but they won't slow your aging, and they certainly will never shape your muscles or burn off stubborn body fat. No way!

These 5 steps reveal the things you absolutely MUST AVOID if you want to slow the aging process, reclaim your health, and achieve your ideal body.

Fulfill Your Resolution to Blog in 11 Steps Read ~By Chris Abraham

So “blogging” is on your 2014 New Year’s resolution. Good for you. My goal is to guide you well past the first 28-days and into habituation. Starting blogging is not going to be easy for you. You’ll be all hot and ready at first but you’ll probably never make it — at least not without my help. More people give up on blogging — and writing in general — than give up on going to the gym in order to lose weight and get fit. Blog wasn’t built in a day. Mark my words.

A majority of my revenue is generated from blogger outreach, namely long-tail and deep-dive, outreach that extends all the way into the thousands of bloggers. As part of the client service work on behalf of my clients I have engaged with many thousands of bloggers over the last decade.

Let’s see if I can help you get through the first push-off.

1) What is your agenda for starting a blog? There is no right or wrong answer here. What do you want out of your new commitment (or re-commitment) to blogging? Are you blogging to get the job of your dreams? You can, you know. Are you blogging to ward off boredom as you raise someone from a Zygote? Do you have aspirations of getting free stuff in the mail that you’ll then review on your blog? Fair enough — completely possible, even probable if you can prove your mettle. Are you committed? Agencies don’t sent out Hermès Kelly Bags or let you borrow S-Class sedans to just anyone. You’ll really need to commit to making it into the A-list of your topic or category of choice before you’ll start being treated like royalty. When it comes to even receiving cheap swag or tchotchkes you’ll need to have blogged well and long enough to be a known entity with a passable reputation and Klout score.

Oftentimes, if your aspiration is to be a tech guy or fashionista, you’ll need to underwrite your own gadgets and gear yourself. At least until someone fancies you to be just the right person who has the reputation, voice, access, and reach that resonates with each unique promotion. Good news: once you’re on board, you’ll probably be a go-to guy for as long as you’re positive, responsive, and professional. It’s simple: commit to treating your blog much less than a journal or diary and more like a profession, a job.

» Free Webcast: Social Listening - Gateway to Innovation

That’s not to say you need to become square or reportedly. Objective is not what anyone wants. People want you, they need you. They should, down the road, know and enjoy your wit, your mind, your world, your experience, and even where you are in the world — with your family, kids, friends, city, state, personal passions, hobbies, and all of that. People want the whole package, and that package is you, Mr. or Ms. Blogger.

2) Only start a blog if you love writing and have something to say: Here’s secret number 1 about blogging: blogs don’t write themselves. Secret number 2: blogs, and the associated marketing, promoting, connecting, pitching, connecting, relating, commenting, and responding, and then blogging some more: short pieces, response pieces, shill pieces, longer pieces. Guess what: lots of writing. Don’t worry, passion-player: if you don’t like writing, maybe Video Blogging on YouTube is for you.

Ugly? Maybe SoundCloud or an audio podcast on Stitcher. Terrible, nasally, voice? Well, it’s OK. Nerdy, nasally, awful voices are the new black when it comes to podcasting. There are virtually zero velvety dulcet tones going on anywhere in Podcast-land. Still ugly? Well, maybe ugly means you’re more authentic — go ahead and give YouTube a try. Start a YouTube Channel today! But don’t worry. You can become as much — or more — of a sensation on YouTube as you can on a blog. YouTube is how Justin Beiber was discovered, right? And, YouTube is the second most popular search engine right under Google Search.

And, if you’re really committed, try out all the platforms in order to build your personal brands: YouTube, Soundcloud, Facebook, Google+, Twitter, Reddit, StumbleUpon, Digg, Tumblr, as well as your blog. It’s as much about you, Blogger, as it is about each particular, discrete, post you birth into the world-o-sphere.

3) Blogging is a lifetime commitment: Like immunosuppressant drugs after heart transplant surgery, once you start blogging you can never stop — or terrible things will happen. One will kill your body, the other will kill everything you’ve worked so hard to accomplish. To paraphrase the quote about Rome, your Blog wasn’t built in a day, but it burned in one. What takes you months — years — to build can go away in weeks.

4) Nothing’s really going to happen for the first six-months: Once you consummate your marriage (with your blog) you need to realize that not matter what you do, unless you already have a well-developed brand, a multinational company, or are between and A-C-list celebrity, then you’re going to have to work like a banshee and maybe — just maybe — you’ll start getting some SEO and popularity traction by month six. More likely, however, you’ll have your ups-and-downs over the course of a year based mostly on the quality, popularity, trendiness, and luck. If you start seeing more consistent readership and deeper popularity as manifest my consistently-increased social sharing (by people other than you and your best friends) then you’ll start seeing your metrics move more reliably.

Please remember, however, that blogging is primarily about connecting with your goals. If your goals are to attract the attention of an employer or a brand or agency, then metrics aren’t everything; however, if your goal is to make a living through advertising and affiliate marketing, then yes, you’ll surely need to care about traffic and numbers: the more the better. But don’t let raw numbers drive your concept of your success or failure. Remember, all you need to do is attract the attention of employers, colleagues, reporters, agency reps, and brands.

5) Writing is only a quarter of what it takes to be a blogger: Writing takes a lot of work. And you’ll need to do a lot of it. But the blogging is only a quarter of the time you’ll need to put in. In addition to that work, you’ll need to maintain your blog website, you’ll need to sort out site moderation, become somewhat of an expert in WordPress, Drupal, Xoomla, Movable Type, Typepad, Tumblr, Squarespace, Blogger, or whatever you choose (choose WordPress).

You need to jump in, feet-first, into social media, including your own personal Facebook, Twitter, or Google+ profile. Quite possible a Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ professional brand profile page. Maybe Pinterest, even. Quite a few bloggers also maintain newsletters, email lists, and email subscription lists.

Then, you’ll need to meet all the other people in your blogging space. You’ll need to keep track of social media mentions about your blog posts, you’ll need to monitor comments and respond in a timely manner. You’ll need to delete spam and moderate abusive comments.

I am sure I have just scratched the surface. Domain name registration, email monitoring (for that fateful email that’ll get you that Mercedes Benz S550 test drive or your very own Kelly Bag), and all sorts of other technical issues you’ve never though of: down time, a broken template, a corrupted database. You will have become an entrepreneur, publisher, reporter, media-mogul, and technologist all in one fell swoop.

That’s not to say you need to become square or reporterly.

MAGIC ATRICLE REWRITE GENERATE AN AVALANCHE OF HOT PROSPECTS AND LEADS

Laugh at Google's Duplicate Content Ban when You Discover...

Dear Friend,
There are tons of ways to generate traffic and build your business or ali-aboutpractice online. There are new slick marketing ideas popping up all the time, one after another, claiming to be the next best thing.
However, one of the easiest, proven, most time-tested ways to attract new business and more traffic to your site is to become a sought after authority and gain expert status in your field.
One of the biggest secrets that the top marketers don't talk a lot about is the fact that they ALL have built their credibility, visibility, and their lists of gold by writing articles.
In fact, multi-million dollar online entrepreneur Ali Brown says that:

"This is a tried-and-true method that will NEVER stop working, unlike the latest and greatest gimmicks to spoof the search engines.

(Try one of those and see how quickly your traffic halts once the bottom drops out.)

Search engines love real content and will always love real content.
"

And this is only scratching the surface...
As thousands of Internet Marketers already know, backlinks from articles offer the surest route to high rankings in Google, tons of free traffic and lots of targeted customers.
That's what Yuwanda Black found out...
"I wanted to create more passive income, I decided to give article marketing a REAL try. I decided to submit one article to 25 top-rated directories for 30 days straight.
Only a week into it, my Google Adsense income has quintupled (increased 5 times) and my subscriber rate has increased three fold. And this is after ONE WEEK."
